When Estella Hayes and I met for the first time this past October, she and I discussed her goals and motivation of working towards a healthier lifestyle and body weight. She had only been on the show for one short week, and had no real foundation or action plan on how to get started towards her goal.
After one week of training, I had the pleasure to meet Jerry. He had been the next eliminated contestant to leave the show and was ready to get going with the same energy and enthusiasm as Estella.
From Day one, they both gave 110% and they were intrinsically motivated to change their lives. The money was never a goal and was never mentioned throughout the process. The weight started to come off slowly, but steadily. For Estella, there was never a week with a double digit loss, the weight just came off at a steady pace and there was never a point in time where she hit a plateau.
Jerry's weight loss was the same way. He was extremely consistent and at no point did he have a double digit loss. We set short-term realistic goals and continued to hit those goals each and every month.
From October to January, Estella had worked her way up to 45 lbs lost and Jerry hit the 100 lb mark. They kept their eyes on the their goals and by May 12th at the season finale, they had lost a combined total of 260 lbs!!!
I am so proud of them for the dedication and perseverance that they had throughout the journey. They never took a "cheat day" and even kept their eating clean through all the major holidays. They are truly an inspiration and I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to help them achieve their goals!

Wow!!! You did a fantastic job and they are truly an inspiration!!!
